30 gr unsalted butter
125 ml milk (and extra for brushing)
10 gr caster sugar
1 egg (and 1 egg beaten for brushing)
350 gr white flour
25 gr strong white flour
7 gr dried yeast
100 ml water
Icing dyed black and brown food dye
-Pre heat the oven 180 C
-Mix the flour with the water with the whisk in a pan until is smooth all together, turn on a low medium heat and stir constantly with a wood spoon until is consistency, then transfer it to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap and leave in the freezer for 10 minutes.
-Lightly with oil a square baking tin.
-Warm the milk in a little pan and add the butter until is all melt and add into a bowl, add sugar and salt, add then the mix flour (was on freezer), the egg and whisk all together, add the flour, the yeast and mixed all for 10 minutes. Then make a ball your mixture and put onto floured surface to knead by your hands for 15 minutes until is sticky your dough, add more flour until your dough is smooth, left this in a oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 1 hour.
-When your dough doubled in size, turn out onto a floured surface and knock back, form 9 mini balls, shape the ears and paws and place into your baking tin, brushing with milk, cover with lightly oiled plastic wrap and leave doubled size for 15 minutes. Then brushing with the beaten egg and cover with the lightly oiled plastic then bake for 20 minutes until is gold brown.
-Transfer the buns to a rack and leave cool, then start to paint your cats!
